Mark Ballard II is a 2012 graduate of Lorain County Early College High School. We checked in with him to see what he’s up to now!
After graduating from Lorain County Early College High School in 2012 with my high school diploma and Associate of Arts degree from Lorain County Community College, I continued my post-secondary education at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Upon graduation, I worked at the PACE foundation (Performing Arts Community and Education) as the Deputy Director. This foundation oversees 89.1 wnzn, an FM urban inspiration radio station and mentors at risk youth in Lorain County.
In the fall, I decided to head back to school to earn my law degree. I am currently enrolled at Mississippi College School of Law and will graduate with my JD in 2018. I plan to return to Lorain County and continue my work with at risk youth.
I love giving back to my community and one day I plan on running for Mayor of Lorain, Ohio!
