“The future belongs to them, if we only afford them the skills they need to succeed.”

When businesses and community leaders partners with a school on the success of its students, it’s an investment in the future of the community. Marysville STEM Early College High School is a collaboration between Marysville Schools, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Columbus State Community College, Otterbein University, Honda of America Manufacturing, the Union County Chamber of Commerce and KnowledgeWorks.

For businesses, the benefits go further. By investing in the academic success of a school, companies can ensure a pipeline of successful future employees. In this video, Honda explains that they are “dedicated to helping the next generation of manufacturing professionals fulfill their potential through our support of STEM schools. The future belongs to them, if we only afford them the skills they need to succeed.”

“They’re preparing us to move on to something bigger,” says one student in the video. And that’s exactly right. KnowledgeWorks, Honda and the other partners at Marysville Early College High School are ensuring that students not only succeed in high school but also far into the future.
